 y.\n\nProjecting Democracy is a solo exhibition by Swedish-American artist
  Michele Pred\, on view at Nancy Hoffman Gallery\, featuring large-scale p
 hotographs\, sculptural installations\, and new mixed-media works that exp
 lore themes of equality\, bodily autonomy\, freedom\, and collective resis
 tance\, as well as her Swedish heritage. The majority of the works were ma
 de between 2022 and 2026. Two of her artworks will also be featured in the
  annual Vårsalongen exhibition at Liljevalchs in Stockholm\, opening on F
 ebruary 13\, 2026\n\nAbout the Artist\nMichele Pred is a Swedish American 
 artist and activist whose practice includes sculpture\, assemblage\, and p
 erformance. Her work uncovers the cultural and political meaning behind ev
 eryday objects\, with a concentration on feminist themes such as equal pay
 \, reproductive rights\, and personal security.\n\nGuided Tour\nThere will
  be a tour on March 7 at 11am with Swedish artist Michele Pred specificall
 y geared toward the Swedish influences in her work. Members of the Swedish
