Helen Lundström Erwin is a Swedish author, illustrator and historian, born in Helsingborg, living in New York City since the early 90’s. Helen writes historical fiction novels and children’s books, with a special passion to acquaint Americans, and the world, with Swedish history and culture. Her current project is a new historical novel set in Sweden during the 17th and 18th centuries. She is creating a virtual space of Hanna’s cafe in her latest novel “Sour Milk in Sheep’s Wool, for an immersive historical experience.

Oscar Fock Oscar Fock is a young Swedish jounalist from Uppsala, currently studying a MFA in Creative Writing at Long Island University. Oscar has always been interested in the history of the Swedish emigration to the U.S. In his thesis he wants to tell a story that highlights the lives of the Swedish emigrants in a way that hasn’t been done before, reflecting on differences and similarities between our 21st century struggles and the difficulties of the 1800s.
